The Opportunity

You will have responsibility for developing and maintaining automated continuous integration tests in line with the customer’s requirements, working as part of a project delivery team.

You will also provide technical consultancy on software, software engineering and software related technologies and approaches to members of the Roke team, and our customers.

Why We Want You

You will have extensive practical experience in developing and maintaining automated tests at a range of levels including unit tests, system test, and both backend and frontend tests.

You have an interest in and ability to learn new and emerging platforms, technologies, techniques and approaches. You will also be familiar with Agile delivery, DevOps practices, software testing, and working with open source software.
Familiarity with:

  • Java
  • Javascript web applications using Angular or Vue.js
  • Test automation using Docker, and modern language specific test frameworks

Beyond your technical skills, you will be proactive and able to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will work well alone or as part of a team. You will be curious and seek out the best approach/solution/tool for the job at hand.
